Special issue

To foster the long-term effect of EANA 2024 and the studies presented during that meeting, we are currently planning a special issue in "The International Journal of Astrobiology" (IJA). As a journal of the Cambridge University Press (CUP), authors will benefit from CUP partnering with over 2,000 institutions globally to help publishing research Gold Open Access. Therefore, many attendees will have the opportunity to publish their article OA at no cost. For authors not covered by an institutional agreement, CUP offers several other routes to funding OA publication (further information can be found here). EANA and IJA aim to offer the majority of corresponding authors a publication free of charge.

During the registration process, we will enquire the interest of the attendees in publishing in such a special issue. A special issue will only be realised if there is a substantial amount of contributions. A timeline and guidelines for the paper submission process will be published after EANA 2024.
